A Stafford County woman has been accused of having ongoing sexual relations with her teenage foster son.
Suzanne Ibsen Collares, 33, was indicted on 20 felony charges Monday by a Stafford grand jury.
Collares is charged with 10 counts of statutory rape and 10 counts of taking indecent liberties with a child.
She was arrested Monday night at her job at the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board and placed in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
A bond hearing is scheduled for this morning in Stafford Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, prosecutor Eric Olsen said.
Details about the incidents are scarce, but the indictments show that the sex acts were alleged to have occurred between March of 2005 and August of last year at Collares' Argyle Hills home, where she lived or lives with her husband in southern Stafford.
Olsen said the boy, who no longer lives with Collares, reported the allegation to authorities. Olsen would not reveal what led to the boy coming forward.
The boy was in middle school when the alleged sexual relationship began.
Collares got involved with the state foster care program under the Arlington Department of Social Services. She lived in Northern Virginia before moving to Stafford and still answered to Arlington officials, state records show.
Stafford Detective Tom Leonard is investigating the case.

She will be free by morning. Women never go to jail for stuff like this.
Why the picture of the accused?

This seems to be still developing why publish a picture of the
person before all the facts are in. If this turns out to be a false
report the poor women's face has been splashed all over the
paper. If it is true there will be plenty of time to expose the
person.

I actually know the victim personally and i can't belive something like this happened to him! He never acted like anything was wrong and i just can't beleive something like that would happen in my neighboorhood!

This is completely inappropriate. It doesn't matter if the boy did or did NOT think the sex acts were cool....what SHE did (if she did) was 100% absolutely WRONG! Not only did she abuse/rape/defile a CHILD, she was an adulterer against her own husband. And what must her OWN children be going thru right now. How horrible for them.
